Large Handwoven Natural Fibre Ceramic Statement Piece

This large beautifully handwoven natural fibre and ceramic statement piece brings a touch of rustic elegance to your home. Crafted with care by skilled Indigo herself, this work was inspired by a remembrance of a trip to Harvey bay in W.A where the stingrays come into shores edge and you can stand among them milling around you. It was a hot sunny day where I was mesmerised by a huge all white stingray with a single black ring on its back. I got so sunburnt because I was completely entranced by this creature and lost all track of time. Also weirdly, nobody else saw this creature; there were about 40 of us there. Parents with young children to celebrate a child's birthday party. In this piece, I wanted to capture the undulation of its wings shifting through the water, and I wanted to capture the colors of the day. Perfect for storing fruit, bread, or as a striking decorative centerpiece. Its durable, sustainable materials make it both functional and environmentally conscious. It's also completely unique and just one of its kind.
